In 1885 the entrepreneurial spirit of Dr. Th. Horn, founder of the company, gave birth to industrial revolution measurement.

Today, his inventions and patents are the foundation stone of the company.

From the very outset, the company's success arrived as a result of the precise operation and solid performance of their machines.

This outstanding quality gained Horn products world-wide recognition. Driven by a passion to stretch the limits of invention to the extremities of the technically possible, Horn developed speed indicators and revolution counters for use primarily in mechanical engineering, aeronautics and shipping technology.

By 1900 Horn products had already acquired their international reputation and were exported to industrial nations world-wide.

In 1945 the company was entirely destroyed.
